This is the portfolio: a quick look at the full range of my work across my career, all in one place. Music videos, short films, documentaries, events, and personal projects, a little bit of everything I do.
About Me
I'm Tyler Chappelle, a professional filmmaker based in Illinois and founder of FilmVision Studio. Growing up, my dad was a professional videographer, and by the time I was eight I was already making home movies, experimenting with green screens, and teaching myself how to edit. I just love creating things, and I never went away from it.
I said yes to everything early on: birthdays, quinceañeras, music videos, community events, real estate and product videos. The turning point of my career came when I landed a full-time production contract with one of the largest basketball creators on YouTube, DC Heat. For two years I traveled full-time as director, producer, and VP of production. I wasn't just part of the team, I was the production team: producing large-scale entertainment across the country and internationally, directing talent, and leading crews to deliver on every deadline.
That range, corporate brand work, weddings, live entertainment, and everything in between, is what I bring to every project today. I run my own production and post-production pipeline start to finish, communicate clearly from the first call to final delivery, and bring the same level of craft to a large-scale production as I do to a single couple's wedding day. If you need someone who can handle the full vision and the execution, that's what FilmVision Studio is built to do.
That standard shows up in every project I take on, and it shows in the final cut.
